As part of our learning on Tigers and inspired by the story, 'The Tiger who Came to Tea', we set up a tea party!
Complete with real coffee, loose tea, tea bags, sugar lumps, watered down milk and warm water.
We had great discussion on whether a liquid needs to be warm in order for sugar to dissolve.
We read The Tiger who came to Tea and then had our own tea party!
Using the tweezers and scoops to practise fine motor skills!
They had so much fun creating their own drinks!
By putting it all in a tray it contains the mess!

The end sight was not quite as pretty as it was at the beginning! However we had lots of fun and it didn't take long to tidy up!
