Magnetic characters!

Creating characters from loose parts on tin cans!

Magnetic Loose Parts

All you need for this provocation is some loose parts and old tin cans.
Buttons, plastic milk bottle lids, googly eyes, things which do not weigh much all work well.

I bought a roll of magnetic strip from Amazon which I attached to the back of the loose parts.

They can then get creating!
Characters which they create could  be a brilliant basis for story telling!

I also left out a magnetic wand which The Boy got for his birthday out. These wands are great for exploring magnetism. Ours came with a handful of magnetic transparent counters.

The girl decided as she was creating that she would like more colours, so added her own magnetic strip to more buttons.
We had lots of fun with this provocation creating characters, towers and exploring magnetism.
