This light Cube is a great for conversation starters and asking questions.
This time we used it as part of our project on bridges when we were thinking about the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. I left the troll inside it with the three billy goats next to the cube for the children to find when they came down in the morning.
They were most excited to find him in there and immediately started asking questions such as 'How did he get in there?' 'Do you think he is lonely?' 'Do you really think he is a grumpy troll or just a very hungry one?'
We chatted about how people/characters can be misunderstood and did we think this was the case with the troll?
There are so many questions which can be asked from this and activities to then take this further!
