Block Play Provocation

Block play involves so many different areas - problem solving, imagination, creativity, mathematics, science and fine motor skills.

Using blocks in play to explore shapes, symmetry and patterns.

Why not leave out some blocks for your child to explore some of these areas.
Using blocks in play to explore shapes, symmetry and patterns.

You could leave the blocks out in colour or size groups to attract the child's attention.

And by placing a mirror at the back of the blocks it allows them to take their exploration even further.
It's great for investigating patterns and symmetry.

The Girl moved on from building towers and exploring the shapes onto using her imagination, introducing characters and a story line.
