Lack of real snow has lead us to creating some of our own. And its so easy!
For this provocation just mix bicarbonate of soda with water into a thick paste in moulds and freeze.
They can then have great fun building snowmen. Pop some pots out with bits like cocktail sticks, beads, googly eyes, cake cases for hats to create further interest and creativity!
They then need a water spray and/or pipettes to squirt a mixture of vinegar and water onto the snowmen to get the fizzing going!
The more they add the more the vinegar will react with the bicarbonate of soda so more fizzing!
It may smell rather vinegary after a while though!
If you keep it contained within a tray then the clearing up is not too bad!
